The hiring client is an industry leading metal identification solutions provider with 100+ years of manufacturing experience in North Kansas City. The client is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company that provides top quality etched and screen-printed stainless steel and aluminum nameplates, data plates, tags and printed metal products. We are currently seeking an Etching Operator for Night Shift, Monday - Thursday, 8 PM to 6:30 AM.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading of Chemical Etching Machine for both Stainless Steel and Aluminum.
• Spray painting of flats of metal nameplates in an enclosed paint booth.
• Loading and unloading of a clean-off machine, wiping excess paint off of sheets of metal nameplates and ensuring quality of print and etch is acceptable.
• Read specific job tickets and follow all process steps.
• Participate in daily continuous improvement processes.
• Perform First Article inspections per training and processes.
• Always follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Additional cross training throughout the production facility as business dictates.

Qualifications:

• Good mechanical, computer, and math skills needed.
• Candidate must be willing and able to work with chemicals.
• Must be flexible and adept at working as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be teachable, willing, and able to learn new tasks.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
