As the
Corporate Communications Specialist,
you will play a crucial role in the organization's efforts to develop, implement, and improve both external and internal communications and public relations initiatives. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with teams to produce and create content for internal communications channels while also relating to external partners through media relations and other external communications functions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the AVP, Public Relations and Corporate Communications, and Corporate Communications Manager to develop and execute internal communications tactics to grow company culture and employee engagement
Serve as the primary internal communications contact to coordinate planning, content and delivery of quarterly leadership meetings
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (stateside and globally) to encourage aligned internal communications practices
Assess internal communication outputs and innovate adjustments to continually improve and maximize communication channels
Collaborate with PR and corporate communication leaders to plan and execute PR initiatives, including community engagement and media relations
Develop and maintain databases and templates related to PR; aid in the creation of messaging content; and serve as a copy editor and visual assistant for PR-related materials, as assigned
Create and manage information on the company's intranet and on the company's external website
Coordinate sending content to external audiences and manage security information for media created by external partners
Help maintain databases of media contacts and other external relations
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or Marketing, preferred
At least three years of related experience
Previous experience working with data to evaluate the success of campaigns/efforts is a plus
Experience working in a team setting with collaboration and communication
Multi-tasking and project prioritization skills
Ability to work independently and proven self-starter
Effective written and verbal communication
Previous MS Office Suite, Workday/ERP system, preferred
Experience working with Microsoft 365 and/or SharePoint
