Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch bathing and grooming services to our furry guests, helping to keep them clean, healthy, and happy. If you love animals and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform baths for dogs of all sizes, ensuring a thorough and gentle cleaning process.
- Trim nails and clean ears as part of the grooming routine.
- Assist the groomer with prep work, including brushing and de-shedding.
- Maintain a clean and organized bathing area, including washing towels and cleaning equipment.
- Monitor the behavior and health of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any concerns to management.
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, answering questions and addressing concerns as needed.
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for both pets and staff.
Qualifications:
- Experience with animal handling and bathing preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- A genuine love for animals and a strong commitment to their care and well-being.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift and handle pets of various sizes.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
