Job Overview:

As a Multimedia Environmental Consultant at Altamira-US, you will lead environmental projects with a strong focus on sustainability, regulatory compliance, and business development. You will be responsible for the project management of comprehensive environmental management plans, ensuring they meet client satisfaction and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations across various environmental sectors. In this role, you will conduct thorough environmental assessments, devise effective compliance strategies, and actively drive initiatives to expand our business presence within the market. You will regularly engage with clients to expand our portfolios with them, manage on-going projects, and mentor other employees.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to grow Altamira-US's environmental consulting services, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to expand our market footprint.
  • Environmental Management Plans: Develop and implement environmental management plans in strict compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage vendor relationships for environmental services.
  • Environmental Assessments: Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments, including studies and audits, and recommend strategies for enhanced sustainability and compliance.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance on best practices in environmental management to internal teams and clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with clients to address on-site needs and with internal Altamira resources to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Client and Project Management Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and Altamira Project Teams to ensure project objectives are met and client satisfaction is achieved.
  • Technical Quality Assurance: Ensure the technical quality of all projects by resolving client inquiries and conducting technical reviews of deliverables.

 

In this role, you will be instrumental in driving both environmental and business growth, positioning Altamira-US as a leader in sustainable environmental solutions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or science, Chemistry, Geology, or a related field, preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations (Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Louisiana knowledge preferred).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience with environmental management software and databases is advantageous.
