We're looking for a Junior Mortgage Loan Officer to join our growing team. In this entry-level role, you'll have the opportunity to help generate new business and assist Senior Loan Officers in creating and closing loan packages. If you're passionate about building relationships, achieving results, and working in a collaborative, team-driven environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from leads provided by our top-tier marketing system
- Consult with potential loan applicants, answer questions, and build relationships while explaining home loan products
- Gather financial information to assist with loan applications, prepare loan files, and evaluate applicants' financial eligibility
- Track and manage your sales pipeline, meet goals, generate referrals, and create new business opportunities
- Work closely with a supportive office team to accelerate your learning and growth in the mortgage industry
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in sales or a customer-facing role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Mortgage product knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Self-driven with a desire to perform at a high level consistently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Encompass is a plus
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
- Frequent sitting, standing, kneeling, stooping, and reaching
- Ability to use hands or fingers to handle objects or tools
- Good vision, including the ability to adjust focus for various tasks
- Occasional lifting and moving up to 25 pounds

- Ability to manage emotions and provide responsive customer service
