The Sales Trainer at Everdays is responsible for delivering high-quality training and development support to new insurance agents across the country as they onboard to our planning and insurance platform. This role includes leading prospecting calls and conducting engaging, interactive webinars designed to empower agents with the skills they need to succeed. Working closely with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and collaborating across departments, the Sales Trainer will play a key role in enhancing the training experience to ensure strong agent performance and retention. This role is perfect for a dynamic trainer with a passion for sales development who can inspire new agents and elevate Everdays' agent success.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Design and implement engaging training programs tailored to different learning styles and needs.
  • Inspire and motivate agent prospects, ensuring clear understanding and addressing all questions.
  • Apply instructional design principles to create structured, impactful learning experiences.
  • Develop and maintain training materials across various formats, including video, presentations, and one-pagers.
  • Collect and analyze training outcome data to track agent performance and training effectiveness.
  • Identify areas for improvement in agent performance and continuously refine training methods and materials.
  • Provide ongoing development opportunities through additional training sessions (e.g., refresher courses, targeted skills workshops).
  • Proactively identify and address training challenges, developing solutions to optimize learning and performance.
  • Maintain and share training reports with relevant departments to support agent success.

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Experience in training and development, with a strong background in facilitating engaging sessions.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clarify information and resolve conflicts.
  • Prior experience creating various training materials, including video content and presentation decks.
  • Sales experience with the ability to coach agents through the entire sales process.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid role (three days in-office, two days WFH).
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving desired results.
  • Professional demeanor that aligns with Everdays' values and corporate image.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active life insurance producer license.
  • College degree or equivalent experience in training or education.
  • Experience in adult education, specifically with independent contractors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant tech platforms, with the ability to train others on them.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the insurance industry.
