CMC of Georgia , an OEM supplier and custom metal fabricator with over a century in business, is seeking Aluminum Welders to join their team in Toccoa, GA .


If you have at least 6 months of aluminum MIG and/or TIG welding experience , this is an opportunity you need to explore! Veteran welders encouraged to apply as well!

• Above-average pay : earn between $60,000-$70,000 a year, paid hourly at $25-28/hour (includes overtime)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Weld flat, horizontal, and vertical plane geometry.

• Understand various edge preps before welding.

• Good understanding of set up techniques, and joint cleaning procedures for aluminum.

• Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.

• Quality control of incoming and completed product as per print and/or standards.

• Control the processes of fitting, burning and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheating, distortion, expansion or shrinking of parts and weldments.

• Keeps the work area clean and organized.

• Arrives at work, meetings and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.

• Wear and use the appropriate PPE for the task being done.
