Apple River State Bank was chartered in 1948 and opened in Apple River, Illinois which still remains a locally owned financial institution. As Apple River State Bank evaluated the local markets, it concluded that branches located in the expanding communities of Jo Daviess County was a means of enhancing its long-term opportunities and offering true community banking services. As a result, Apple River State Bank has opened full-service branches in Apple River, Elizabeth, Galena, Hanover, Scales Mound and Warren, Illinois. In Wisconsin we have two full service branch locations one in Hazel Green and Darlington.

As a Full-Time Teller/Customer Service Representative at Apple River State Bank, you will play a vital role in our customer service team. This position involves processing all new account transactions, helping customers choose the right accounts and financial services to meet their needs, and cross-selling our diverse range of products and services. You will be responsible for opening, maintaining, and closing various account types, ensuring each customer's banking experience is seamless and satisfying. Your expertise will not only enhance customer relationships but also contribute to the bank's growth and success, all within a fun and relaxed work atmosphere in Hanover, IL.

To excel as a Full-Time Teller/Customer Service Representative at Apple River State Bank, a combination of qualifications and skills is essential. A high school diploma or GED, along with at least one year of related experience or training, lays the foundation for success. Preferred candidates will have cash handling or sales experience, complemented by prior customer service exposure. Excellent customer service skills are crucial, as you will engage directly with clients, necessitating a friendly and professional demeanor.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 year of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
